Questions before you start.
How does the free trial work?
Create an account and name your workspace, and the 14-day trial starts with every feature available. You don’t need a credit card to start.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing is charged automatically. To keep using JobStack, subscribe from the billing page. If you don’t, the workspace is paused and your data is kept.
Are there limits on AI or storage?
There are no set AI or storage limits. They’re covered by fair use: if your usage is far outside what’s normal for a trade business, we’ll get in touch to talk about it.
Do you charge per user?
No. One price covers your whole team, office and site.
Does everyone need a login to be scheduled?
No. Anyone on your team list can be booked onto jobs and given tasks. Tick “Can log in” only for people who will use the app themselves.
Can factory staff use it without site bookings?
Yes. Workshop staff can be assigned tasks on a job, and those tasks appear on their Today screen alongside any bookings.
What works without reception?
In the app, updates, photos, questions, defects, variations, expenses and clock punches are saved on the phone and sent when signal returns. Issued drawings can be saved to open offline. Other job details need to have been loaded on the phone while it had signal.
Do clients need an account?
No. Clients approve variations, answer questions, accept proposals and view their job page from a link.
Can I use it without connecting email or using AI?
Yes. Jobs, scheduling, tasks, the app and costs all work without email or AI. When you connect Gmail, access is read-only.
Does it create invoices or connect to Xero?
No. JobStack tracks each job’s value, variations, expenses and labour, and you can record what’s been invoiced and paid. Invoices, payroll and accounts stay in your accounting software, and there’s no Xero connection today.
What can my team see?
Access follows each person’s role and the work they’re assigned. Team members see their jobs, tasks and bookings, but not job financials — values, prices, costs or margins — or files marked Office only. A file shared with everyone on the job, or with a task they’re on, is visible to them. Managers see more, only admins change settings, and you can make your own roles with exactly the permissions you choose.
Does the AI act without asking?
AI suggestions wait for someone to approve them. You can choose to let it link emails to jobs automatically when it’s confident, and job summaries refresh on their own when there’s new activity.

How do I cancel?
From the billing page, any time, through Stripe’s customer portal.
Is my data safe?
Each workspace’s data is kept separate, roles control who sees what inside your business, and payments are handled by Stripe — we never see your card details.
