About
Built with CabCrew, for trade teams like theirs.
JobStack started as the system CabCrew needed to run its own work. It’s now a product any trade business can use.
Why we needed it
CabCrew is a cabinet installation business in Tullamarine, Melbourne. Its crews install kitchens, wardrobes and commercial fitouts for builders and cabinet makers, with factory support for re-cuts and replacement pieces.
That means work moving constantly between the office, the workshop and site: plans that change, questions from site, extra work to sign off, and crews who need to know where they’re going. Too much of it lived in inboxes, group chats and people’s heads. JobStack was built to keep it with the job instead.
Who is building it
JobStack is built in Melbourne, alongside the people at CabCrew who use it. The people using it day to day are the first to tell us when something doesn’t work.
How feedback shapes it
Features come from situations on real jobs: a drawing revision that needed to reach site, a question the crew couldn’t answer, a variation the client needed to approve. When something is awkward in practice, we change it. If you try JobStack, your feedback goes into the same list.
Who it’s designed to help
Trade businesses where a job passes through several hands before it’s finished — cabinet makers, joiners, installers, shopfitters and similar teams.
The office
Owners, managers and estimators who need to see where every job stands, and who’s responsible for the next step.
The workshop
People making the work, who need current drawings and a clear list of what to do — even without site bookings.
Site
Installers and site crews who need their day, the right drawings, and a quick way to report back.
